LawExchange member firm, Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton PC is putting on two major seminars, both on 2 February 2012.

The first seminar, entitled Series "A" Venture investing in 2012:  Will we turn the corner?, to be held at Cambridge Innovation Center in Cambridge, MA, will involve a panel of three leading venture capital partners who will review 2011 Series "A" deals and look into 2012, on topics such as the interaction between angels and venture capital funds and which sectors will be "hot" and which will not.

The second seminar, entitled Independent Contractor or Employee – How should businesses respond to the rising risks of misclassification?, will be held at Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton's offices and will be presented by the firm's employment law and tax law groups.

Peter Barnes-Brown, a founding partner of the firm and Chairman of LawExchange International said, "These seminars both address issues of key importance to entrepreneurs, investors and businesses.   They are an on-going part of our involvement with the venture capital and business communities".
