Director Liability for Environmental Offences

Directors and managers can be held liable for certain environmental offences and be exposed to a risk of prosecution or penalty if their organisation breaches the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 (NSW). We look at the categories of executive liability under this legislation and discuss how these risks can be managed by a director or manager.
