Hewitsons appoints London Real Estate Partner

UK Law firm Hewitsons has further strengthened its growing London Real Estate team with the appointment of Partner Ross Johnstone. Ross joins Hewitsons’ Blackfriars office, on Dorset Rise, from west London firm Iliffes Booth Bennett Solicitors, where he was a Partner in the Commercial Property Group. He brings with him nearly 30 years’ experience in property law. This has included providing high-level, business-focused legal advice to developers of and investors in primary care centres; investors in retail and residential properties; investors in shopping and retail centres; corporate occupiers; and property funders. At Hewitsons, Ross will work with a wide range of commercial real estate clients, both domestic and international, including individuals, businesses, charities, educational establishments, governmental bodies, developers and funders. Ross’ appointment is the latest in a series of recent additions to Hewitsons’ Real Estate team, which achieved top ‘Tier 1’ rankings in the recent Legal 500 guide for its Environment, Planning, Property Litigation and Commercial Property work. Others who have joined over the past two years include Partner David Wells, Associate Bryan Guest, Solicitor Amanda O’Mahony and Senior Solicitor Campbell Wilson.
