A new study by the Centre for Economics & Business Research, which assessed economic growth and job creation in 45 British cities, has forecast that Cambridge is likely to remain the fastest-growing city economy for the next decade.The City has produced more patent publications than any other and 80% of its start-ups are still trading after three years.Recent arrivals include AstraZeneca, which is completing its £330M global research HQ on Cambridge`s Bio-Medical Campus.The City is now houses over 1,000 hi-tech companies, including Microsoft, Apple, Siemens  and CSR.Colin Jones, Managing Partner of Hewitsons LLP, commented: "This survey confirms what we at Hewitsons have known since the earliest years of The Cambridge Phenomenon, in the 1970s, that this City has so much to offer both to "home-grown" start-ups and to major multi-nationals".
