This month saw the Cambridge Business Excellence Awards take place marking 25 years of the award’s existence. Once again Hewitsons championed the successful commercialisation of technology - for which Cambridge is recognised on a global platform - by presenting Cydar with award for business innovation. Cydar, who have operations in the US and UK, has developed a novel guidance system for surgeons that combines 2D and 3D images. Hewitsons are founder members of the event which celebrates the cream of the region’s economy and takes place at historic Kings College.
