Gould & Ratner (Chicago) client, 601W Companies bought the Old Post Office building in Chicago last week. David Arnburg, Amy Blumenthal, and Joe Marzo led the Gould & Ratner team representing 601W in the post office transaction. The Old Post Office contains approximately 2.7 million square feet with land available for two additional buildings. 601W will commence a redevelopment of the Old Post Office this year.[caption id="attachment_3440" align="alignleft" width="150"] The Old Post Office Building, Chicago[/caption]The Old Post Office is the eighth office building purchase by 601W in Chicago handled by Gould & Ratner. Other buildings include the Aon Center, Chicago’s third tallest building and the two-tower Prudential Plaza.
