Holding Redlich (Australia) has appointed Julie Miehe as the Head of its new Pacific Islands and French Practice.[caption id="attachment_3645" align="alignleft" width="150"] Julie Miehe[/caption]Julie is a French-Australian qualified lawyer who has comprehensive experience working with major Australian law firms and organisations. Her expertise focuses on corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, construction and energy and resources.Her fluency in both English and French coupled with her specialist knowledge of French, Australian and Pacific Islands businesses and culture mean Julie is uniquely placed to assist Australian and foreign investors with investments in French-speaking markets around the world. She has advised and acted for various foreign corporations and small businesses in relation to investments and operations in Australia.Julie is actively involved in the Australian, French and Pacific Island business communities. She is a board member of the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and the secretary of the Queensland chapter. She is also a member of the executive committee of the Australia-Pacific Islands Business Council.Julie is a certified NAATI translator from English into French and has almost 10 years’ experience as an English-French and French-English legal translator.
