HOLDING REDLICH APPOINTS NEW PARTNERS, SPECIAL COUNSEL AND SENIOR ASSOCIATES

Holding Redlich (Australia) has welcomed two new partners to its Brisbane office. Rachel Drew will join the Workplace Relations and Safety Group and Julie Miehe will join the Corporate and Commercial Group. Rachel brings with her to the firm a special counsel, a senior associate and a lawyer. Julie brings with her a special counsel and two French lawyers who also work with her.In addition to the appointments of Rachel Drew and Julie Miehe and their teams, Holding Redlich also announced the promotion of five special counsel and nine senior associates across its offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.Rachel Drew specialises in advising employers and human resources professionals in relation to employee management and entitlements. Her expertise includes industrial relations, employee entitlements and award coverage.Julie Miehe is a dual French-Australian qualified lawyer who specialises in commercial and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, energy and resource projects and tourism. Julie was most recently Managing Director of Oceanie Lawyers, an Australian-based law firm advising foreign companies in relation to their investments and operations in Australia and more generally in the Pacific region as well as assisting Australian and foreign investors with their investments in the French speaking markets (New Caledonia, French Polynesia and Vanuatu as well as PNG, Solomon Islands and Fiji). The operations of Oceanie Lawyers merged with Holding Redlich on 1 July.
