Hutchison PLLC (Raleigh), a leading provider of strategic business counsel to the life science and technology communities, is pleased to welcome Jennifer Westerlund to the firm’s partnership.Jennifer’s practice focuses on corporate advisory and transactional work for middle-market established companies as well as start-ups, both nationally and internationally, in a variety of industries and sectors, including: energy, technology, healthcare, insurance, chemicals, manufacturing and logistics services. She most recently owned her own practice, but prior to that she was a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Fort Lauderdale office. Jennifer also practiced at other large U.S. firms in both New York and London advising clients on a variety of corporate and transactional matters.Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston University and her law degree from the American University Washington College of Law. She also attended La Sorbonne in Paris.Jennifer spent many years abroad, and in addition to her U.S. based clients, she represents companies in both the U.K. and Scandinavia and is a fluent Norwegian speaker.Bill Wofford, another member of the firm and head of Hutchison’s life science practice, notes, “Jennifer’s broad range of international, energy and insurance services expertise will enhance our already strong corporate practice in the Southeast regions.
