On Wednesday 27th March, Hewitsons proudly presented a cheque to the value of £71,156 to Cambridgeshire Community Foundation, representing the amount of money raised through the annual Chariots of Fire relay race in 2018. This, charity, based in Cambridge, was seeking to raise funds for their Cambridgeshire High Sheriff’s Awards which support local young people who face disadvantage. Over the course of 26 years Chariots of Fire has been running over £1.25million has been raised.
