Holding Redlich’s Chief Executive Officer, Clarence Kunnel, spent a winter’s night outdoors recently – sleeping with cardboard for shelter and soup for dinner - in a bid to raise funds and awareness of the plight of homeless people.It was the eighth year that Clarence camped out in the Melbourne winter chill as part of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout event, and comes at a time when the issue of homelessness is increasingly topical.Clarence has raised $7000 for this year’s event, and over the eight years that he has taken part raised a total of $56,089 – with the help of colleagues at Holding Redlich and friends and family.“By taking part in this event we get just a small insight into the world of a homeless person but we also get the opportunity to spread the word and raise funds to help improve this growing problem,” Clarence said.
