LEI has offered Observer status to the Istanbul law firm Gurulkan Cakir.   A partner from that firm, Mr Yasin Cakir, attended the recent LEI Conference in Guadalajara, Mexico and gave a presentation about his firm.  Following this, the members of LEI voted unanimously to offer membership to Gurulkan Cakir, subject to the usual due diligence requirements which that firm is currently dealing with.Lewis IsaacsSecretariat of LEI
