Along with other exciting news, including being ranked by Canadian Business magazine amongst Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies for a second consecutive year and being named by Canadian Lawyer Magazine as one of the Top 10 Ontario Regional Law Firms, Loopstra Nixon is excited to be participating for the first time in the Asia Pacific Regional Meeting. Althea Yip and Cindy Yi, the co-chairs of our rapidly growing Canada-China practice and two of our youngest female associates, have dedicated themselves over the past two years to developing this practice area and have been met with great success.  Loopstra Nixon launched its Chinese website in May 2018 and both Althea and Cindy have been heavily involved in the Chinese business community. With a view to continue this expansion abroad, they look forward to introducing the Loopstra Nixon Canada-China practice group at the Asian Pacific Regional Meeting,  to establishing strategic alliances with law firms based in Asia so that Loopstra Nixon can better serve clients whose businesses are located in both Asia and Canada, and to becoming the point of contact for Asian law firms who are looking for local counsel in respect of Canadian law matters.
