AyacheSalama (France) announce of the creation of an employment law team which will be headed by Caroline André-Hesse – Partner, together with Justine Coret – Counsel, and Jeanne Cordoliani - AssociateThis new department will deal with all aspects of employment law, advising clients or litigating on their behalf, with a particular focus on employment law issues arising in the context of M&A and group restructurings, collective negotiations and redundancy plans.Who is Caroline? "Addicted to strawberries, raspberries and blueberries", a graduate of HEC and holding a postgraduate degree (DESS) in business law from the University of Paris XI, Caroline is "l’as-des-trêves, un crack, votre amphétamine" *. She has been working for over 15 years in French and international renowned law firms, the past 7 years as a partner, before joining our Firm to set up the employment law department. What the firm has to say about it  "This new adventure is an essential piece of the puzzle: together, the Corporate, Tax and Employment law departments form the indispensable trilogy in transactions; separately, each of these practices constitutes a coherent core practice. To those who might wonder why we didn’t cross that bridge earlier, the simple answer is that it illustrates that this important move is a good example of our firm’s culture where affectio societatis is primordial. We were waiting for the day where we would meet a team like Caroline’s who share the same pragmatism, the same dynamism and the same ambitions as our Firm… sometimes a decision is obvious, and in these circumstances the creation of that new employment law department was just natural."Caroline and her team’s biographies and the scope of their expertise can be found on our website* French pun (impossible to translate into English) based on a song of French singer MC Solaar.
