Introduced by the HM Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire and with the support of Northamptonshire County Council, the University of Northampton hosted a vigorous Brexit & Democracy question time debate on Tuesday 21st November. Hewitsons’ Partner and Head of Dispute and litigation, Dominic Hopkins was one of four expert panellists answering questions from a mixed audience of  business people, representatives of local government, students, and other members of the public.The other panellists were Tom Blenkinsop, former Labour ‘whip’ and ‘Remainer’, now Operations Director at Community TU, Jason Farrell, Senior Political Correspondent of Sky News, and Dr Suzanne Mcdonald-Walker, Senior Lecturer in International Relations and Politics at University of Northampton.  Journalist and BBC Radio Northampton Presenter John Griff was question master for the duration of the night.
