Enterprise Ireland Benefits From LEI Firms' European Expertise

1 June 2018

Enterprise Ireland (EI), representatives of which presented at the Dublin Conference in 2017, is working with several LEI member firms to help develop one-page guides to provide Irish companies information on doing business in the various European countries. This project came about after Aernout Zappey of LEI member firm Levenbach advocaten (Netherlands) was invited by EI to be on a panel at a conference pertaining employment and recruitment in Europe.  As you may remember,  EI (https://www.enterprise-ireland.com/en/) is the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. EI works in partnership with Irish enterprises to help them start, grow, innovate and win export sales in global markets. In this way, EI supports sustainable economic growth, regional development and secure employment.  The goal of the project with LEI is that EI can ask local specialists in different countries to help EI’s clients, Irish companies who want to export to Europe or want to set up subsidiaries in Europe. So far, materials have been developed for the Netherlands, with additional one-pagers being developed for France, Germany and Italy.  The topics covered in the one-pagers will include employment and immigration law and what kind of and how to set up a legal entity. If you are interested in learning more about this effort, contact Aernout at aernoutzappey@levenbach.nl.
