Hewitsons (England) are proud to facilitate discussion groups aimed at HR professionals from its Cambridge, Northampton and Milton Keynes offices. Intended to provide opportunities for networking and to keep abreast of current developments in HR practice and employment law, the HR Clubs meet approximately every two months at each location.Generally meetings take place first thing in the morning and over bacon rolls and Danish pastries a pre arranged topic is discussed including a summary of the legal issues involved.  However, probably the most valuable element is the ability to call upon the collective experience of all those present as to how to deal with particular issues, whether arising as a result of the selected topic or (very commonly) a knotty problem which has arisen in practice.
