The 2015 Legal 500 directory was published late September. The latest results for the United Kingdom saw Hewitsons increase its number one rankings across East Anglia, the East Midlands and the South East and was one of the most highly recommended legal firms in East Anglia and the East Midlands.It was recommended as a ‘Top-Tier Firm’ in 16 practice areas, achieving this ranking for the first time in property litigation in East Anglia and, corporate and commercial in the East Midlands. Furthermore, the firm was ‘recommended’ across 24 practice areas with four new areas being included in the South East region. These were personal tax, trusts and probate, commercial property, intellectual property and IT and telecoms.Individual lawyers at Hewitsons also impressed, with 14 lawyers listed in the elite ‘Leading Lawyers’ list: an increase from nine in 2014. Forty lawyers from the law firm were also recommended in the Legal 500 rankings across East Anglia, the East Midlands and the South East.
