On 5 and 6 October 2016 the third annual conference of the African Legal Network was held in Dubai, the home town of the LEI member Anjarwalla Collins & Haidermota Legal Consultants (ACH). The ALN Annual International Conference is held annually with the aim of connecting Africa to international markets. Each year the conference brings together top business leaders and professionals with a deep experience and understanding of working in Africa.The former LEI chairman Auke de Vries, from Levenbach Advocaten Amsterdam, visited the conference as a representative of LEI with the aim of strengthening the links between the ALN and LEI network.[caption id="attachment_221" align="alignleft" width="79"] Auke de Vries[/caption]Auke commented: “I felt that my visit contributed to the idea to create more visibility and awareness amongst the ALN member firms of LEI.
