She frequently takes part in important bankruptcy processes, both as bankruptcy administrator and as a lawyer acting for either the bankrupt party or creditors. Throughout her professional career she has taken part in key operations involving litigation and restructuring in solvency and insolvency cases (both in Spain and internationally), the sale and purchase of companies, distressed debts, production units and intra-corporate and external litigation.With more than fifteen years’ experience, Manuela Serrano joins Ventura Garcés & López-Ibor after working with firms that include DLA Piper and Roca Junyent, among others. In this new phase in her professional development, Manuela Serrano aims to “strengthen and contribute to growth in the firm’s litigation and restructuring departments”, adding that she wants to “bring my professional experience in bankruptcy and corporate law to a firm like this one, which has an acclaimed reputation in the sector”.
