On 1st September 2015,  Björn Bergström joined the Stockholm branch of  Ramberg Advokater (Sweden) .    Björn has been working with public procurement since 2001 as CPO and as a legal expert.   He has been employed at the National Social Security Agency, the County Administrative Board in Stockholm and at the Central Bank of Sweden as CPO and at VHS Procurement as the chief legal officer.    Björn's latest employment was at the Swedish Competition Authority as head of the national Public Procurement Support Unit.    He has also had an engagement in SOI (the association for people working with public procurement in Sweden) as a member of the board during 2009-2014, the last years as vice chairman and chairman.Johan Stern, Partner responsible for the area of Public Procurement at Ramberg Advokater says,  "I am very pleased to have recruited one of Sweden's most senior legal experts in the area of Public Procurement.    A person with a profound theoretical and practical knowledge and expertise, Björn enhances Ramberg's existing excellence and practical knowledge, which includes performing public procurements as well as participating in policy discussions and acting as attorneys in court.      By recruiting Björn we are even better prepared to assist our clients in the work we are already doing in assisting them in complex public-private affairs".At Ramberg, Björn's main areas of work will be in the area of Public Procurement to assist Ramberg clients in their work to make public procurement a tool for successful public affairs.   He will work with all issues in the area, from the needs analysis phase and dialogue to court procedures and commercial contract issues. [caption id="attachment_2943" align="alignnone" width="80"] Björn Bergström[/caption]
