During the recent Spring Conference in Aarhus, Denmark, Kristiaan Caluwaerts of the Belgian firm Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven, was elected as our new Chairman for two years. 

He takes over this role from Allan Ritchie, Loopstra Nixon LLP, who did an amazing job over the last two years. 

Our organisation currently comprises 37 law firms in 31 countries on five continents with over 2600 lawyers and staff. The various law firms cooperate intensively on cases and for common clients, with around 200 cases being exchanged internationally each year.

Kristiaan Caluwaerts will be Chairman together with an Executive Committee (EC) consisting of the Secretary David Lindgren from Scotland, and members from the UK, the US, Canada, Sweden, Portugal and Australia. More information about the EC can be found here.

The next conferences will be held in Chicago, Toronto, London, Istanbul, Berlin, Kuala Lumpur and San Diego.
