Having left the EU in January, the UK is currently within a transition period which is due to end on 31st December 2020. On 13th July 2020, the Government released the policy paper, “UK points-based immigration system: further details statement” (Further Details). This document builds on the previous Policy Statement by providing more detail to applicants, employers and educators on the proposals that will underpin the key immigration routes within the points-based system.
